The success of any music program is dependent on parent involvement. You are a vital part of this organization! If you have an interest in donating your time to the chorus program, please go ahead and get started by filling out our one time only volunteer form Volunteer Application
Helping the boys with their ties, helping the girls with appearance (make up and hair) and helping with those last minute touches, parents are welcome here. Our parent volunteers are truly priceless. Be encouraged and involved with your student during their middle school years. We love and appreciate our parent volunteers who open the doors for opportunity in our chorus and musical theatre program!
Chorus parent meetings will usually take place on the first Thursday night of each month. At these meetings, you and your family are welcome to attend and the director will stop by your table. It is a wonderful way to connect with the director and his family over dinner, ask questions, and sign up for areas where we need parent support. These meetings are informative and are not mandatory. It is rare; however, please check your REMIND and email in case of a cancellation or change of venue.

How can a parent help?
- Chorus dress fittings (moms are needed here – bring measuring tape!)
- The Rock A Thon (registration table, chaperones)
- Ad Book Sales (phone calls and meeting area businesses)
- Fall Fundraiser (organizing and excel spreadsheet)
- Winter Concert (chaperones and greeters)
- The Christmas Dance ( gates, tickets, chaperones, concessions, clean up crew)
- Field Trips (chaperones)
- Pre-MPA Concert (chaperones and greeters)
- Choral MPA, Solos and Ensembles (chaperones, hosts, and organizers)
- The Choral Showcase (tickets, greeters, chaperones, programs, and stage crew).
